The Quincy High Drama Club
The Quincy High Drama Club has been in operation since 1916 with the creation of the "Thalia Club". Its creation is immortalized in the biography of Ruth Gordon, a founding member of the club. Ruth Gordon graduated from Quincy High School and went on to become an Oscar and TONY award winning actress.
Since that time the Quincy High School has continued its mission to create quality productions for the students and community. We currently perform out of the Lloyd Hill Auditorium, a state of the art theater that was built in 2010.
We currently have 80 student members who serve as performers, designers, stage managers, technical crew, and house staff.
We are proud to put on three full productions a year, a drama production in the fall season, a musical in the winter season, and a variety show in the spring season.
